Highly Praised: FilmsAvengers 'Infinity War' by the Russo brothers
Title: Avengers ‘Infinity War’ Genre: Superhero / Action Rating: PG-13 Availability: Movie Theaters Language: English Product of choice: Dr Norms Cookies Reviewer: Mikey Score: 93/100   It’s a weird choice for me to want to review the fastest-film-to-gross-a-billion-dollars considering how much press it’s getting right now but, after having seen it for a second time, it’s that amazing. We’re pretty blessed to be living through this time of “good” superhero comic book adaptations. In the 90’s and early 2000’s we sat through a barrage of poorly directed comic / video game adaptations: Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four, DragonBall Z, Street Fighter, multiple renditions of The Incredible Hulk, and the list goes on and on.   Taking a pause for 2008’s Iron Man. I remember leaving the theater after the flick ended just jaw dropped, in applause, and thinking to myself “now this was a real super hero movie.” I’m still patiently waiting say that about an X Men movie (though Logan was amazing). It’s insane because both viewings of this film consisted of people who have only ever seen one or two Marvel/DC movies yet fully enjoyed the film and even gave me an off the top rating of 9/10! Speaks bounds about how well done the movie is. It’s something that I don’t think Whedon was able to accomplish with the first two Avenger movies. Kudos to the Russo brothers! In actuality, it may even be easier to watch for someone who hasn’t a clue about anything regarding the characters as opposed to being a fan trying to match timelines and seek out character consistency.   Lesson of learning, just go, medicate, and have fun. It’s nearly 3 hours long but very little, VERY LITTLE, slum time. I guess that’s easy to when you’ve a star studded cast of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Peter Dinklage, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benecio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Bautista, Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman, and Mark Ruffalo. Solid A-, handing it a 93/100.   Excited to hear your thoughts! – Mikey     Product of choice: Dr Norms Cookies (link)     These are incredibly good as they stand but incredi-freaking-ly good for taking to the movies. They come in a bag with 10x10mg cookies, so 100mg total per bag. It’s $18 a bag for some truly gourmet chocolate chip cookies. As always, since  everyone will have a unique reaction to different edibles, make sure first that these are the right ones for you to sit through a lengthy movie. No use in paying the ticket price and knocking out!   Check it out: https://showgrow.com/locations/long-beach/?category=edibles
