ShowGrow is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations at our Long Beach dispensary.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on team development, customer experience, operational execution, and accountability. The Assistant Store Manager serves as the bridge between store leadership and the sales floor, helping ensure employees are trained, customers are taken care of, and operational standards are consistently executed every day.
We are looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership, solves problems, and enjoys developing people.

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $46,000 – $60,000 per year depending on experience
- $200 monthly stipend
- Wednesday through Sunday schedule
- Typical shift: 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM
- Monday and Tuesday off
- Primary opening manager Wednesday through Sunday
- Occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on business needs
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to Store Leadership
- Works closely with Inventory Management and Sales Floor teams
- Responsible for daily floor execution and team performance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily sales floor operations and ensure a positive customer experience
- Supervise budtenders and support staff during assigned shifts
- Coach employees on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques
- Conduct daily team huddles and ongoing employee training
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and professionalism
- Address customer concerns and resolve escalated issues
- Coordinate breaks, lunches, shift coverage, and floor assignments
- Support opening and closing procedures and maintain store readiness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment
- Work closely with inventory and management teams to ensure products are stocked, displayed, and available for customers
- Help drive sales, customer retention, rewards program participation, and overall store performance
- Implement new processes and initiatives introduced by store leadership
- Identify operational issues and proactively work toward solutions
- Lead by example and help create a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork

- Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
- Experience with POS systems, retail operations, hospitality, restaurant, or service-based management is a plus
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must meet all local and state requirements for cannabis employment
